Low Slope, Rolled or Flat we Absolutely Know Them All

Do you know what you need for your low slope roof?  Do you know if you have low slope roof?  Some low slope roofs need an ice/water shield over the entire roof.  The proper materials available for low slope roofs vary depending on the slope.  You may be able to use asphalt shingles, or you may need to have a rubber roof.  Metal roofs are also an option.   Absolute Construction and Remodeling Inc. can help you determine what you need if you have a low slope roof.

Rolled roofs can be an economical choice for the right application, but they will not last as long as most other roof treatments.  As with all roof treatments proper installation is one of the main factors in the life of your roof.  Absolute Construction and Remodeling Inc. would be very happy to discuss with you the most economical option for your application, and if it is a rolled roof then we can install it properly ensuring that you get the maximum life out of your rolled roof.

Flat roofs warrant consideration when it is time for replacement.  There are different materials used for flat roof, including:

  • Built-Up Roof (BUR) which is hot tar and gravel.
  • Modified Bitumen which is similar to an ice/water shield and can be torched on or peel and stick.
  • Rubber Membrane or EPDM which is a true heavy duty rubber.

Flat roofs are tricky and not something that an inexperienced installer should tackle.  Absolute Construction can help you determine which material is right for your application.

The most important thing to know about low slope, rolled and flat roofs is that if they are not installed properly they will leak!  Leaks can cost a lot more than the cost of the right roof.  Let Absolute Construction and Remodeling Inc. help you avoid improper installation and unexpected costs.   Our installations are complete and worry free, they include:

  • Tear off of your old roof.
  • Disposal of your old roof.
  • Proper installation of your new roof, underlayment and flashing.
  • Clean-up.
